THE FOUNDERS
Hanna Shiplett, Principal Designer
Hanna spends hours drinking coffee and poring over her designs for EGDB clients. She is a natural design tastemaker, incorporating her practical needs for her own family with a passion for the finest materials and beauty.
She travels across the nation and globally to bring the most unique and special products and perspective to her busy family focused clients.
On the weekends you'll find her taking ballet class, fussing with her own home, or curled up with her cherished children Lucy, Ian, Audrey & baby Eva.
Jonathan Shiplett, General Contractor
Jonathan's background is extensive and focused on construction. Beginning his career with the hands on work of property management, welding, framing, and later trim carpentry Jonathan gained the experience needed to handle large scale construction projects.
Jonathan runs his projects like he runs his business with zero tolerance for anything less then excellent. He is a trusted force on the job and uses his expertise to guide quality and efficiency in execution.
In his spare time you'll find Jonathan taking late night runs, guzzling coffee alongside his wife and business partner Hanna, and taking the kids on outdoor hikes on Iowa's many beautiful trails.
